Job summary

Saks Global in Tysons, VA is seeking a Merchandise Operations Associate to support stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling to help drive store sales and enhance the customer experience.

You will work under managers and Visual Merchandisers, perform back stock, price changes, signage, and assist with events; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays; basic MS Office proficiency and 1+ year retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate flexibility with competing tasks.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers.
• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound/outbound freight.
• Fulfillment, packing, and shipping of online and store customer orders.
• Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed.
• Merchandise price changes and reticketing; sign and move product once marked.
• Reticketing, damages, mark out-of-stocks and related inventory control processes.
• Responsible for back stocking, stockroom organization, and maintenance.
• Under guidance and direction of Managers and Visual Merchandisers, merchandise product and sets sale events and signage, while ensuring standards are followed.
• Support with set-up and takedown of in‑store events and activations.
• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers
• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound/outbound freight
• Fulfillment, packing, and shipping of online and store customer orders
• Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed
• Merchandise price changes and reticketing; sign and move product once marked
• Reticketing, damages, mark out-of-stocks and related inventory control processes
