Job summary

SAKS COM LLC is looking for a team member to support daily merchandise operations. Responsibilities include processing merchandise, providing excellent customer service, and participating in store projects.

Job description

Salary Range: $17.05 - $21.32*

Responsibilities

• Under the leadership of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager, support daily merchandise operations including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment.
• Demonstrate flexibility in communication styles and establish positive interpersonal relationships.
• Evaluate progress against key performance drivers and assess opportunities and risks.
• Drive positive outcomes through objectives and measures while monitoring progress and results.
• Consistently generate and share original ideas, tackling both simple and complex problems.
• Process inbound merchandise and placement and presentation of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Follow direction in maintaining standards in placement and presentation.
• Participate as needed in other store projects, including filling in of merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
• Locate requested merchandise within the store and complete orders placed by customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customers' needs promptly.
• Perform ad‑hoc responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Adhere to merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with visual standards.
• Computer skills and ability to use available technology (RF guns, PC, iOS device, Excel/Word, proprietary platforms).
• Flexible schedule following business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed, in accordance with state driver’s license standards.
