Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Merchandise Operations Associate to support stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling within a Neiman Marcus store location. You will report to the RPSO Manager and help maintain merchandise organization, assist with events, and ensure compliance with standards.

The role requires 1+ year of retail experience, flexibility for diverse tasks, and basic MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience.
• Demonstrate flexibility with competing tasks with a 'win together' mentality.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite.
• Standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Associates must work a flexible schedule based on business need, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and assist with directing leads and managers.
• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound / outbound freight.
• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders.
• Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed.
• Reticketing, damages, stock and inventory control processes.
• Back stock, stockroom organization and maintenance.
• Under supervision, merchandises product and sets sale events and signage.
• Support set-up and take down of in-store events and activations.
• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.

YOU WILL BE

As a Merchandise Operations Associate, you will assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling functions, including maintaining merchandise organization. You will perform operational, daily tasks to support store sales, profitability and enhance the customer experience. You report to the RPSO Manager and work in a Neiman Marcus store location.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers including:
• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound / outbound freight
• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders
• Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed
• Merchandise price changes and reticketing; signs and moves product once marked
• Reticketing, damages, mark out of stocks and related inventory control processes
• Responsible for back stocking, stockroom organization and maintenance
• Under the guidance and direction of Managers and Visual, merchandises product and sets sale events and signage, while ensuring standards are followed.
• Support with set-up and take down of in-store events and activations
• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
