Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. Qualifications

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure law compliance.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes for timely unloading and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership alignment.
• Execute SISO routines to drive in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy, and readiness.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution to complete merchandising sets on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards for product presentation.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop team members through TM onboarding and ongoing skills-building.
• Partner in maintaining Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink and ensure safe operations.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Oversee ad sets, pricing changes, and promotional signage for customer focus.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ensure accurate order processing.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with documentation accuracy and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and customer-ready environment.
