Job summary

Wild Adventures Theme Park in Georgia is seeking team members to operate Merchandise locations and deliver excellent guest service. You will handle cash/credit transactions, follow park policies, and complete required paperwork while maintaining a safe, friendly environment.

Applicants should be at least 16, able to read/write/speak English, and available for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Outdoor work with PPE may be required; experience with POS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Currently enrolled in High School, High School Graduate, or GED preferred.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned Merchandise locations in a safe, efficient manner per policy.
• Enforce all departmental, park, and safety policies and procedures.
• Complete department paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions in line with company policy (PCI training).
• Maintain excellent guest service and resolve guest relations issues.
• Be willing to work outside assigned zone to support park needs.
• Represent the company to guests and team members in a positive manner.
• Punctually report to work and meet performance/conduct standards.
• Create Memories Worth Repeating by exceeding guest expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Operate assigned Merchandise locations in a safe, efficient manner in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Enforce and adhere to all departmental, park, and safety policies and procedures.
• Complete all applicable department paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
• Perform in a manner compliant with company policies and procedures, including cash and credit card handling.
• Complete PCI training
• Maintain excellent Guest Service and ensure guest relation problems are handled appropriately including directing, answering questions and interacting positively.
• Must be willing to work outside his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion
• Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
• Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
• Satisfies Wild Adventure’s standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time
• “Create Memories Worth Repeating” for our Guests by exceeding guest expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and in the presence of dust and odors. Team Members are susceptible to the exposure of various chemicals, bodily fluids, and blood-borne pathogens, prolonged exposure to sunlight or rainy conditions.

EDUCATION

Currently enrolled in High School, High School Graduate, or GED preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Strong basic computer skills; must be able to operate and understand the park's point of sale system(s)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Must be able to wear appropriate job-specific personal protective equipment (PPE)
