Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking a distribution center associate in the United States. The role involves handling full cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds, lifting cartons and merchandise onto and off conveyors, pallets, or storage containers, and spending at least 50% of hours performing lifting tasks.

You will learn equipment operation where needed and support fast-paced picking operations to maintain case quantities and palletize outbound products. Safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a distribution center environment useful.
• Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, brands, locations, and required overtime.
• Meet productivity standards after successfully completing training.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting.
• Standing or walking for the duration of the shift is necessary; sitting for extended periods during the shift may not be possible.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend and follow written and verbal directions.
• Use basic math skills to verify quantities, make adjustments, complete worksheets and accurately complete order paperwork.
• Operate Warehouse Management System (WMS), Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and other equipment needed to perform job duties.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, ability to follow directions and apply problem-solving skills.
• Identify product and accurately match numbers.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized equipment to move merchandise.
• Inspect merchandise items to ensure accurate quality and brand specifications.
• Maintain and verify documentation and information to facilitate the flow of merchandise through the distribution center.
