Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee order picking, put-away, and daily operations in our Savannah, GA facility. You will lead a team of 4–6 associates, ensure accurate shipments, and coach staff on quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate with other departments to optimize product flow, manage stock rotation, and participate in regular pre-work meetings to communicate priorities and updates. OSHA safety adherence is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience leading warehouse teams preferred; strong communication and coaching skills essential.
• Familiarity with inventory control, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and damage-free handling.
• Lead 4–6 team members; conduct pre-work meetings and provide ongoing coaching.
• Coordinate with warehouse departments to ensure efficient product flow and stock rotation.
• Monitor picking/put-away procedures and assess productivity, quality and safety.
• Document attendance, conduct reviews, and lead team-building activities.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized work area.

PURPOSEThis position is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Operations Manager in overseeing warehouse operations in the order picking and put-away areas, ensuring on time shipment and for holding daily pre-work meetings to communicate information to the team members. This position will coordinate with a team of 4 to 6 team members. This position will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the inventory and will coach team members on the importance of quality work performance, as well as, work to ensure superior customer service.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damageHandle specific customer orders to ensure accurate picking and shipmentAssist in physical inventoriesCoordinate with other departments within the warehouse to ensure efficient product flowEnsure proper stock rotation and all supplies needed for the warehouse are available for use (RF units, batteries, equipment, etc.)Evaluate warehouse associates on picking and put-away procedures and monitors their progressLead and attend meetings to discuss quality of work-level and improvement opportunities. Constant teaching, coaching, and improvement learning provided by this individualDocument attendance and participate in reviews for team members, coach, train and mentor Distribution Center (DC) team members in the areas of productivity, quality and safetyHandle and resolve conflict, process team member requests, engage team members proactively and lead team building activitiesUpdate status of daily tasks, manage reports, team member assessments, issues or concerns, equipment status, and process adjustmentsOperate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methodsComply with OSHA and MSDS StandardsEnsure warehouse flow and planningMaintain the facility’s equipment and materials and a clean, neat, and orderly work areaMINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GEDTwo to five years of recent work experienceExcellent communications skills (Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently)Must be a self-starter and possess excellent customer service skillsAbility to perform basic mathematical equations (i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)Must be detail oriented and highly organizedOSHA and/or Class II, Class IV or Class V Forklift Certification preferredWORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)This position is a hourly, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a weekWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.Provide leadership and support training on all Safety programs, processes and procedures, insuring that every associate is properly trained for their position.Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments applicable to the position. This includes participating in all Safety related training and acquiring certifications. Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations.
