Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Handler in Baltimore, MD to support our Pick & Pack department. You will pick orders from multi-level racks using cherry picker, counterbalance, and reach truck, then prepare and stage shipments with accuracy and speed.

The role requires 1–3 years of warehouse experience, English fluency, and strong organization and customer-service skills. Safety is paramount and training is provided to maintain OSHA-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• One to three years of recent work experience.
• Experience operating order picker/cherry picker, counterbalance, and reach truck.
• Excellent communications skills (read, write, and speak English fluently).
• Self-starter with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick product from multi-level racks and stage, load and unload shipments using cherry picker, counterbalance and reach truck.
• Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
• Transport product to designated areas as directed and stage for shipping.
• Label pallets accurately and prepare for shipment.
• Operate equipment safely following procedures and safety requirements.

Pay Range$19.00 - $24.07Purpose:Merchandise Handlers are a vital part of our Pick & Pack Department, which includes the decorative items carried by floor & Decor. Your key responsibilities include picking orders from multi-level racks using a cherry picker, counter balance, and reach truck, putting away product, and staging orders for shipment. This includes participating in all Safety related training and acquiring certifications. Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations. All Safety concerns must be brought to the attention of the management of a location and/or the Store Support Center Safety Department immediately.Working Conditions (travel & environment)This position is hourly, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a weekWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
