Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a customer-focused associate to act as the point of contact for shoppers and to help maintain plan-of-grams and in-store programs. You will stock merchandise, assist customers, and operate the checkout area, ensuring accurate transactions and clean store presentation.

The role involves unloading trucks, building displays, and following company policies to maximize profitability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Restock recovered merchandise and face shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide checkout assistance.
• Operate cash register, bag purchases and collect payments.
