Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team and fan base.
  2. Greet guests and ascertain their interests to make sales recommendations.
  3. Ensure excellent accuracy when using POS systems.
  4. Demonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  5. Present merchandise to increase sales with add-on items.
  6. Describe merchandise features, benefits, and uses effectively.
  7. Keep current on store promotions, sales, and events at the speedway.
  8. Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts; assist in inventory management.
  9. Increase knowledge of products, facilities, and events at Daytona Pit Shop.
  10. Assist with merchandise setup for event gift shops, including plan-o-grams, inventory control, and cleaning.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  12. Read and implement plan-o-grams accurately.
Qualifications
  1. Honesty and integrity in all actions and language.
  2. Ability to accept constructive feedback and make necessary adjustments.
  3. Excellent customer service and selling skills.
  4. Willingness to work extended hours on event days, including weekends and overtime.
  5. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  6. Accuracy in open and close procedures.
  7. Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
  8. Innovative, self-starter, capable of working independently and in a team.
  9. Flexibility to perform duties in other areas as needed.
