Job summary

Cedar Point is seeking a Merchandise Associate to provide an excellent shopping experience for guests. You’ll demonstrate and sell merchandise, conduct POS transactions, display items, and stock shelves.

This role supports a fun, team-oriented environment with perks including paid training, free admission to Cedar Point, discounts, and employee events. Availability on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• You should enjoy helping guests and delivering friendly service.
• Ability to demonstrate products and upsell when appropriate.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.
• Willingness to work as part of a diverse, guest-focused team.
• Reliability to work a varied schedule including peak times.
• Safety-minded with good judgement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and sell merchandise to guests using product knowledge.
• Conduct sales transactions on the POS system.
• Display merchandise and suggest products highlighting promotions.
• Stock shelves and fixtures, and retrieve merchandise from back storage.

• Stock shelves, fixtures, gondolas, counters and racks with merchandise. Retrieve boxed merchandise from back storage areas to stock the sales floor.
