Responsibilities include assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager, along with hiring, training, and developing store associates as directed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt, return, and management of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support freight flow management, meet productivity standards, and assist in merchandise ordering and stocking.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining sales displays like Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Contribute to monthly Sales Planners planning and implementation.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
