Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Support all store functions and daily activities under the direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect company assets, including cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all store areas meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor, with proper recovery.
• During the Store Manager's absence, assume supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and store communications as delegated.
• Assist with receipt, return, and management of freight and merchandise, following policies.
• Help order, stock, and organize merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain sales floor presentation and assist in planning merchandising strategies.
• Contribute to achieving productivity standards and support monthly sales planning.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
