Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional, friendly environment with customers and staff.
• Ensuring store cleanliness and organization, including stockroom and sales floor.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Assisting in freight flow management, ordering, stocking, and maintaining sales-effective merchandising.
• Planning and implementing sales strategies, including monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
