Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as directed by the Store Manager.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as instructed.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring the store, stockroom, and sales floor meet company standards, including recovery.
• Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Assisting with freight flow management, stock ordering, and organization.
• Maintaining an effective sales floor and merchandising setup, including planning and implementing sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferably prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
