Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help manage freight flow and maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining clip strips and power panels with sales items.
• Participate in planning and implementing monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
