Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, organized and up to standards.
• Take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Process corporate directives and communicate store activities as delegated.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and maintain stockroom organization.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and merchandising merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Plan and maintain sales-effective displays and planograms.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
