Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Ensuring store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
9. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives related to store activities.
11. Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight management.
12. Ordering, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
13. Maintaining sales floor effectiveness and merchandising displays.
14. Planning and implementing sales strategies and visual merchandising.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
