Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Order, stock, and organize merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is effectively merchandised daily.
• Plan and maintain sales-promoting displays like Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Assist in planning and executing monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
