Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including store cash.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
8. Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
10. Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow management.
11. Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
12. Supporting ordering, stocking, and merchandising efforts.
13. Maintaining stockroom organization and sales floor effectiveness.
14. Planning and implementing sales strategies and visual merchandising.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
