Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not on the premises, assume supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
8. Process all SSC Corporate directives and communications related to store activities as delegated by the Store Manager.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Help manage freight flow and maintain stockroom organization.
11. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
12. Assist in ordering and stocking all merchandise needs, including frozen and refrigerated items.
13. Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales items.
14. Assist in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
