Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates
• Process store directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information
• Assist with receiving and returning DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Help manage freight flow and ensure productivity standards are met
• Support ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Assist in organizing the stockroom and maintaining sales floor effectiveness
• Plan and implement merchandising strategies, including Clip Strips and Power Panels
• Participate in monthly sales planning and execution

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, team environment
