Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives, including pull and hold/destroy, task compliance, key survey info, and other delegated store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies and procedures.
• Manage freight flow and ensure productivity standards are met or exceeded.
• Assist with ordering, stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Plan and implement merchandising strategies, including Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Participate in planning and executing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
