Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates
• Performing store functions and day-to-day activities as directed
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing company assets, including cash
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Maintaining store standards, including recovery of all areas
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and stocking needs
• Ensuring sales floor effectiveness and merchandise presentation
• Planning and implementing sales strategies and merchandising layouts

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
