Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean to company standards, including recovery tasks.
• When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Help maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is effective daily, with proper merchandising and placement of sales items.
• Assist in planning and maintaining promotional displays like Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Contribute to planning and executing monthly sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team-oriented environment.
