Responsibilities

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Handle opening and closing procedures in the Store Manager's absence.
• Protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, organized and up to standards.
• Direct supervision of hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities.
• Assist with receipt, return, and management of merchandise.
• Manage freight flow and maintain stockroom organization.
• Meet productivity standards and assist with merchandise ordering and stocking.
• Ensure the sales floor is effective daily and plan merchandising strategies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
