Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Participate in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• Take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Support ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining sales displays and monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
