Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates
• Process all corporate directives and related communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Manage freight flow and meet productivity standards
• Order, stock, and organize merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure sales floor effectiveness
• Plan and implement merchandising strategies, including sales planners and clip strips

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
