Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, clean and organized to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is not present, assume supervisory responsibilities for all hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receipt, return, and management of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Ensure the stockroom and sales floor are well-organized and stocked effectively.
• Participate in planning, merchandising, and maintaining sales-effective displays and promotions.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Preferably have prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
