Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Helping protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and stocking needs.
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily and planning merchandising strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
