Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates
• Supporting store functions and daily activities as directed
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers and staff
• Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Assuming supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily
• Planning, merchandising, and maintaining sales displays and monthly sales plans

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
