Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
  • Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
  • Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, in company-standard condition, including recovery.
  • When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
  • Process all SSC Corporate directives and related store activities as delegated by the Store Manager.
  • Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD Policies and Procedures.
  • Help manage freight flow and meet productivity standards.
  • Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
  • Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
  • Plan and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales-effective items.
  • Assist in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
