Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield in Fairfield, CA is seeking an experienced Mercedes-Benz Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose, inspect, maintain and repair luxury vehicles, using factory tools and diagnostic scanners.

Qualifications

• Professional automotive technician or mechanic with experience in luxury brands.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for modern electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and factory service information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns.
• Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and other repairs per MB standards.
• Complete routine maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services.
• Utilize diagnostic scanners and specialized tools to diagnose faults.
• Document repairs and services accurately and collaborate with advisors.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair Mercedes-Benz vehicles
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns
• Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and other automotive repairs
• Complete routine maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services
• Utilize diagnostic scanners, specialized tools, and technical service information
• Identify repair needs and ensure all work meets Mercedes-Benz quality standards
• Document repairs, inspections, and services accurately
• Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer training

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Professional automotive technician or mechanic experience required
• Mercedes-Benz dealership experience strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills
• Experience working with modern automotive electrical and electronic systems
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and technical repair resources
• Commitment to quality workmanship, productivity, and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant ASE certifications are a plus
• Mercedes-Benz factory certifications and training are highly desirable
