MPI seeks an experienced MEP Construction Superintendent to oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems on complex commercial projects in Ohio. The role focuses on leading field operations, coordinating multiple trades, driving schedules, and maintaining safety and quality across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring podium and wood-frame multifamily experience, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MEP Superintendent or Senior Superintendent.
• Experience leading large-scale multifamily construction projects.
• Podium and wood-frame multifamily experience required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trade partners.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior field staff.

Responsabilités

• Enforce company safety standards and site security requirements.
• Oversee project closeout and commissioning activities.
• Train and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers.
• Continually identify and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Description

Responsibilities Include

Preconstruction Phase

• Assist in development of project schedules, phasing plans, and site logistics.
• Participate in constructability reviews.
• Support development of MEP bid packages and scopes of work.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and buyout processes.
• Participate in preconstruction planning meetings.

Construction Phase

• Lead all MEP field operations throughout project execution.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection subcontractors.
• Implement and drive project schedules.
• Monitor project costs and resource allocation.
• Ensure quality control processes are followed throughout construction.

Profile

Required Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trade partners.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Offer

• Base salary ranging from $115,000 - $130,000+ depending on experience.
