As the Permanent MEP Superintendent, you will be a pivotal player in our construction team, overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of our projects. This role is crucial to ensuring the successful execution of our projects, from start to finish. You'll be working with a dynamic team of professionals, dedicated to delivering superior quality to our clients. You will be responsible for coordinating and directing all MEP-related activities on the job site, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leave a lasting impact on our company and the construction industry as a whole. Large Ground up Project-Experience with large Aquatic builds a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the MEP installation process, including the coordination of materials, manpower, equipment, and tools.
• Manage and supervise the work of the MEP team, including pipe fitters, electricians, and other skilled labor.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards, as well as compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans and schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the proper functioning of all MEP systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the MEP systems, including pipe systems, pumps, and electrical and mechanical components.
• Coordinate the installation and maintenance of structural components, including retaining walls and site work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, including pipe fitting, pumps, mechanical and electrical components.
• Proven experience with structural components, including retaining walls and site work.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and direct a team of skilled labor.
• Strong understanding of construction codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
