Job summary

Crete United seeks an MEP Project Manager to lead customer projects, establishing clear objectives, building requirements, and managing cost, time, scope, and quality while creating detailed schedules and deliverables. Compensation up to $110K (DOE) with excellent benefits.

Location: Oglesby, IL with relocation assistance up to $10K. Requires PMP or commitment to obtain within 12 months, a bachelor's in business, engineering or related field, and 3–5+ years in project or program management in

Qualifications

• PMP certification or plan to obtain within 12 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years in project or program management in industrial installation.
• Ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with budget, scheduling, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Documents baseline for projects, decomposes complex work activities into manageable components.
• Identifies project resource requirements and coordinates with staff to ensure successful completion.
• Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies risks and mitigates.
• Manages project scope, change control, and escalating issues early.
• Interfaces with stakeholders to manage changes to technical requirements, scope, cost, and schedule.
• Assists with RFP reviews and supports development of technical elements, scheduling and estimates.
• Provides regular status reporting on project performance.
• Supports development of PM group processes, procedures and best practices.
• Challenges processes that do not deliver value and proposes improvements.
• Active participation in continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and tools.
