  • Billing and Financial Oversight: Take greater ownership of the billing process by preparing project billing independently, reviewing budgets, and ensuring financial performance meets project objectives.
  • Delegation and Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project team members, including junior project managers, engineers, and drafters. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that team members are empowered and supported to deliver high-quality work.
  • Project Review and Continuous Improvement: Conduct thorough end-of-project reviews, analyzing project performance, identifying successes and areas for improvement, and driving best practices into future projects.
  • Proposal and Scope Management: Understand and negotiate project proposals and scopes of work, ensuring alignment between the project team and client expectations while managing project risks and opportunities.
  • Client Expectation Management: Refine and implement advanced strategies to effectively manage client expectations, ensuring a strong partnership throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems within overall project objectives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management roles, preferably within an MEP, construction, or engineering firm.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines, and large project scopes.
  • Deep knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations for MEP systems.
  • Strong design experience with a focus on MEP systems, with a demonstrated ability to guide design teams and contribute to technical solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and manage challenging situations diplomatically.
