Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking an experienced MEP Manager in Virginia to oversee multiple projects, support MEP Site Operations, and ensure delivery of a consistent MEP product and brand.

You will partner with clients to meet project goals, evaluate status in real time, and guide staffing and recovery decisions. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 6+ years in MEP construction, strong leadership, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven leadership.
• Ability to coordinate and schedule MEP activities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist bidding mechanical and electrical trades.
• Bid and manage equipment procurement process.
• Participate and lead interview preparation.
• Mentor and train team members on critical system construction.
• Manage and train team members on MEP processes.
• Develop and manage MEP critical path schedule.
• Coordinate critical construction and startup activities.
• Manage MEP quality control and compliance.
• Develop energization plan and safety initiatives.
