Job summary

iLocatum in the mid-Atlantic region is seeking an MEP Office Leader for Pharma to build and lead a dedicated life-sciences team in Silver Spring, MD. The role focuses on client relationships, project delivery, and strategic growth within pharma and biotech engineering.

You will own the regional business development, oversee MEP or process engineering work, grow the office headcount, and ensure delivery excellence with a small Maryland team.

About The Role

You've spent a significant part of your career on pharma work. Complex projects, demanding clients, and you're known well enough in the DC, Baltimore, and Fredericksburg market that you don't need an introduction to the players in the region's pharma and biotech scene.

A firm that works exclusively in pharmaceutical and biotech engineering is opening a mid-Atlantic office, and they need someone to lead it. That means owning the relationships, driving business development, overseeing project delivery, and building a team over time. This is a real leadership seat, not a senior engineering role with a BD footnote.

Because the firm only works in life sciences, you're never the generalist in the room. Every project, every client conversation, every hire is in the same world you've built your career in. A small team is already in place in Maryland, so you won't be starting from nothing.

Compensation And Benefits

$180,000 to $250,000 per year. Additional benefits to be confirmed with the hiring team.
