Job summary

DC Engineering in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in mechanical building systems design. The role focuses on HVAC and plumbing systems within an MEP consulting context, with opportunities to contribute from concept through construction administration.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers, drafters and designers, coordinate with architects and clients, and help deliver projects on time and to code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering consulting.
• Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for building projects.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems for building projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate designs with architects, owners, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform code analysis and ensure designs comply with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Support projects through design, bidding, construction, and closeout phases.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to technical discussions and project planning.
