The role requires reviewing drawings and specifications, developing detailed unit costs, performing quantity takeoffs, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to build comprehensive bid packages.

The MEP Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) scopes for construction projects. This position reviews project drawings and specifications, develops detailed cost estimates, solicits and evaluates subcontractor and vendor pricing, identifies scope gaps and coordination issues, and supports the development of complete bid packages. The MEP Estimator works closely with the estimating, preconstruction, operations, and project management teams to ensure MEP costs, scope, scheduling considerations, and project requirements are accurately captured throughout the bidding and preconstruction process.
