An established industry player seeks a dynamic individual to manage Mechanical and Electrical systems for construction projects. This role involves leading project teams, ensuring optimal alignment for systems installation, and managing budgets effectively. You will participate in scheduling updates, evaluate RFIs, and supervise Assistant MEP Engineers. The position requires strong leadership, communication skills, and technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems. Manage, evaluate, and assess information related to Mechanical and Electrical systems necessary to construct the project on time in a safe manner, within budget, and to the quality specified by the contract documents.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least four years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience related to mechanical and electrical systems. Must have technical expertise, understanding of systems, business acumen, excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and leadership qualities to develop a high-performing team.
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and negotiate construction areas. Visual and physical abilities include close and peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Primarily on-site at construction locations, exposed to mechanical parts, heights, airborne particles, weather conditions, and electrical hazards. Noise levels are moderate to very loud.
