Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Operations team on a project in Manassas, VA. This full-time position demands expertise in construction and engineering, with the successful candidate expected to track monthly payment applications, manage project execution, and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with outstanding communication and time management skills. The selected candidate will enjoy a competitive compensation and benefits package.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Operations team on our project in Manassas, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Track, review, and validate monthly payment applications for trade contractors.
• Assume ownership of overall project execution beyond assigned trade contracts.
• Read, interpret, and apply construction design documents and specifications.
• Lead with integrity and exemplify Holder’s culture by mentoring and developing junior associates on the project.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Basic understanding of construction tools like Bluebeam, SketchUp, Navisworks, BIM360, etc.

Preferred:

• Willingness to relocate as needed.
