Job summary

A professional engineering firm is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer (MEP) to support the design and implementation of electrical systems for commercial buildings. This mid-senior level position involves independent design work, technical analyses, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with NEC and IECC. Benefits include vision insurance, 401(k), and medical insurance. Qualifications

• Experience in designing and analyzing electrical systems for commercial buildings.
• Proficient in applying the National Electric Code (NEC) and International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).
• EIT or PE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design lighting and power distribution systems for commercial buildings.
• Perform photometric analyses and electrical short circuit calculations.
• Prepare engineering analyses, including designs and cost estimates.
• Develop construction drawings and layouts using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Conduct site visits to observe and verify construction quality.
