Job summary

Moseley seeks a full-time Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Construction Contract Administrator (MEP CCA) in Richmond, VA. You will lead construction phase services for MEP disciplines, acting as Moseley’s point of contact with owners and contractors to ensure timely and quality actions on large commercial projects.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in construction contract administration and strong MEP design knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and 3+ years of construction contract administration on large commercial projects.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design.
• Organized with attention to detail and able to troubleshoot under pressure.
• Familiar with ACCA, SMACNA, NEC, IBC, and ASHRAE codes.
• Knowledge of cost analysis and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with all project participants, including internal team members, clients, owners, and consultants.
• Conduct on-site visits to review contract compliance, observe ongoing work, and provide progress reports.
• Attend monthly construction progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Review and become familiar with all project-related agreements.
• Receive and respond to RFIs and perform submittal reviews.
• Review contractor applications for payment and maintain up-to-date project records.
• Conduct substantial completion inspections and complete punch list inspections as necessary.
• Prepare timely contract modifications and review cost proposals.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
