Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, MEP to join its team in Birmingham, AL. This role requires overseeing planning and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing projects within manufacturing, ensuring compliance with scope while collaborating closely with subcontractors.

Qualified candidates will hold at least a Bachelor's degree and have strong knowledge of the relevant trades, along with excellent communication skills. The position includes occasional travel and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and execution of MEP projects.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance of subcontractors with scope.
• Coordinate design and monitor financial status of projects.

Skills

Knowledge of mechanical, piping or electrical trades

Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and e‑mail applications

Experience with programs for calculating loads and performing cost analysis

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
