Shive-Hattery is seeking a Structural Intern in the Higher Ed Engineering market to support design and project outcomes from concept through completion. You’ll work on real client projects and be paired with a mentor to foster your professional growth.

The role emphasizes hands‑on learning, collaboration, and development of skills across utilities, healthcare, and industrial projects within a consulting engineering environment.

Competenze

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Anticipated graduation in 2028 or 2029.
• Completed or currently enrolled in Statics and Strength of Materials.
• Basic understanding of structural analysis and design concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Interest in utilities, building, and industrial projects.
