Role Description

This is an independent contractor remote role for Film and Screenwriting Mentors for the Big Apple Film Festival's year-round industry mentorship sessions, which take place virtually. Mentors will provide guidance and support to aspiring filmmakers and screenwriters, offering expertise in scriptwriting, screenplays, producing, film production, and directing.

Qualifications

• Skills in Scriptwriting and Screenplays
• Experience in Film Production, Development, Directing, Screenwriting
• Ability to mentor and guide aspiring filmmakers and screenwriters
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the film industry and current trends
• Experience in film festivals or related events is a plus
• Degree in Film, Screenwriting, or a related field

Compensation: $75 per one-hour session
