Job summary

A leading organization is seeking a Mental Performance Coach to work with athletes of all ages to teach essential mental skills for improved performance. This role includes conducting webinars and one-on-one coaching and offers certification with the Mental Game Coaching Professional (MGCP) system. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and experience in coaching, with a preference for Certified Mental Performance Consultants.

Job description

Peak Performance Sports, LLC is hiring a mental performance coach or CMPC to work with athletes (of all ages) one-on-one to teach mental skills for sports and conduct team webinars. Coach is required to follow the MGCP system by designing mental game plans and provide beneficial action-oriented, result-driven coaching services to athletes with a wide variety of mental game challenges.

Coach will teach athletes, parents, and coaches mental game skills and strategies to improve performance. Mental coaching instruction, including the planning, preparation, presentation and evaluation of athletes. You receive certification with the MGCP system and direct mentoring from Dr. Patrick Cohn.

  • Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology, Exercise and Sports Sciences, Counseling, or related fields (required).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with athletes and parents
  • Related CMPC, life coaching, ICF coach, or mental coaching certification(s).
  • Work authorization for the United States (citizenship or permanent resident status)
  • Experience in mental coaching or life skills coaching.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Follow the Mental Game Coaching Professional (MGCP) Certification Guidelines (training provided upon hiring)
  • Location: virtual coaching from your location or in Orlando, FL office.
  • Preference given to Certified Mental Performance Consultants (CMPC).
  • Work with athletes of all ages and sports.
  • START DATE: July, 2025
