Yale New Haven Health is seeking a behavioral health support role to perform therapeutic communication and interventions with psychiatric patients under RN supervision. You will monitor patient conditions, report concerns, and assist with daily activities while maintaining professional boundaries.

Performs therapeutic communication and interventions with psychiatric patients. Observes the condition of the patient and communicates with the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis concerning the patient's behavior. Reports any unusual situation or incidents observed. Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

EDUCATION
Associates Degree in human services or related field and/or active enrollment in a bachelor degree program in psychology or related field required. Bachelor Degree preferred. Bachelors degree in Psychology or related field.
Previous experience in behavioral health preferred. Unit Specific Orientation
